Many prospective students seek out Crowns online Christian-based programs because their calling is to help others from a faith perspective. For this reason, whether theyre recent high school graduates or adult learners, students choose one of Crowns most popular programs: the Psychology/Counseling B.S. Crowns is one of the few undergraduate psychology degrees in the U.S. thats completely online and Christ-oriented.

Most psychology programs are more theoretical than skills based. Crowns Psychology/Counseling B.S. includes a solid foundation in psychological theory. But the degree program is distinctive for offering a concentration in counseling from a faith perspective. The focused learning students acquire through the counseling concentration provides graduates with skills applicable to almost any career.

Coursework focuses on human behavior and development, listening and assessment techniques, counseling theory and skill building. Moreover, the curriculum encompasses principles and learning that students in other schools may not receive until the Masters level.

Graduates of Crowns online Psychology/Counseling B.S. are prepared to work in any field that requires an understanding of human thought and behavior with a Christian perspective, from business to ministry to social work. The program also prepares graduates for the rigors of a Masters program, whether an M.A. or M.S.W.

Crowns B.S. students are free to add the Psychology/Counseling B.S. or any other Bachelors offerings as a minor. In many cases, the minor does not add any additional courses to their B.S. program.
